This is a high performance engineering company, specialising in the development and production of Advanced Composite components for a range of high technology industries, including Motorsport, Medical and Aerospace. An ambitious company with big growth plans. An interesting opportunity has arisen for a Project Engineer. This role is commutable of Oxford, Warwick, Leamington, Birmingham and Daventry. It could also be called a Production Engineer, Concessions Engineer or possibly Configuration Engineer.
You will work in close knit engineering team on one composite product group. You will control internal or customer instigated changes and ensure these changes are captured on the drawings and in the configuration control system. You will own the concession process and Engineering Change Requests and ensure continued AS9100 compliance You will also enjoy liaison with customers relating to engineering issues.
Solid Edge CAD is utilised but this is not an essential part of the role.
You will be HNC qualified at least and have relevant mechanical engineering experience in production engineering, project engineering, configuration control or concessions.
CAD experience would be useful but is not essential.
Experience in transmissions or composites would be very useful.
Automotive or aerospace experience would be useful but is far from essential.
