Our client is a leading supplier of RF, microwave and sensing components and sub-systems for the Defence and Electronics market. Based in Essex, the role is commutable from Brentwood, Harlow, Chelmsford, Braintree, Rayleigh and Basildon.

Our client is a specialist provider of technology solutions for high performance systems. They design, source, manufacture, test and support complex components, subsystems and provide long term service solutions from 4 principal engineering sites, in UK, France, US and China.

They has adopted a group wide integrated process platform that is mainly deployed within SAP, and is now looking to put in place the steps for evolving the process environment to enhance business effectiveness.

This role is very much aligned to the company growth agenda with a significant portion of time will be spent working with key business users to accelerate business growth through the delivery of process improvement and systems solutions in line with the group strategy.

Although SAP is our main business platform, this team also supports other solutions and maintains multiple system interfaces.

The IT Business Systems Technical Analyst role will work as part of the Business Systems team and report directly to the Head of Business Systems with a dotted line reporting into the IT Business Systems Technical Lead for Technical development, knowledge sharing and coaching. Whilst the primary focus for the role will be sustaining current business systems, enhancing system performance and advising on system enhancements there is a requirement to investigate propose and develop and deliver new business systems in line with our changing business model across the group

The IT Business team is striving to deliver best practice systems and processes, including platform global standardisation: This role is instrumental to this requirement to add speed and quality into these core delivery programme and ensuring the systems are monitored and available all the time. The incumbent will be responsible for driving delivery of the project goals.
