Lead Powertrain Engineer - Oxfordshire - £Neg + Bens

We are currently recruiting for a Lead Powertrain Engineer to join our busy Advanced Engineering Team. You will have the opportunity to be a part of a growing team of engineers and technicians who work on various exciting projects like the amazing CX-75.
In this role you will lead the Powertrain Development team.
Job Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Propulsion Lead Engineer on all technical and commercial programmes
Present to senior management and other technical leads about programme developments at regular technical and programme reviews
Liaise with our large supplier base to deliver to our technical specification in a timely manner.
To meet demanding programme targets to include weight saving for build and testing.
The ideal candidate will be:
Experienced at a lead engineer level in the areas of Powertrain systems and predominantly engine, transmission, fuel systems, exhaust, air intake, cooling and emissions
Hydraulics experience would also be useful but not essential
Ultimately you should have experience of running through numerous engine development programmes from an automotive OEM background
Previous experience of leading a team
Commercially aware and experienced in managing budgets and financial targets.
Able to work in a fast paced environment with a flexible approach to work and hours
Good presentation skills.
