Body in White Virtual Manufacturing Engineer – Automotive – Warwickshire - £33.45/hr (Ltd)

A Body in White Virtual Manufacturing Engineer is required with experience of RobCAD, RoCAD or Process Simulate.  The individual will have experience of working in a BIW manufacturing environment, preferably within the Automotive industry

You will work as part of the BIW VME team, who are experienced users of RobCAD, Fides, Teamcenter and Catia.  The team are responsible for managing digital product / process analysis deliverables in alignment to company product development timing plans

• Support Manufacturing Engineering and Production Operations by employing virtual manufacturing techniques to prove manufacturing feasibility, enabling robust design and manufacturing assembly prior to component manufacture.
• Product & Process manufacturing feasibility analysis.
• Support Process Planning (interface between process and simulation)
• Manage Simultaneous Engineering (SE) Partner resource to meet the Virtual Manufacturing deliverables
• Mange the Simulation and Tooling Design Plans, allocate timing and resource requirements
• Validate SE Partner tooling and cell designs
• Validate SE Partner tooling design and simulation as part of manufacturing buy-off
• Ensure SE Partner adhere to Company standards
• Data Management for Body in White Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME BIW).
• Buy-Off the Delivery of Supplier Off-Line Programs
• Buy-Off Final Job1+90 of the facility, running at rate, meeting design cycle times etc.
• Controlling Project Documentation
• Ensuring Tooling Design and Simulation delivery form vendors.  

You must have:

• RobCAD, RoCAD or Process Simulate experience
• Body In White manufacturing process development and tooling design experience
• Educated to Degree / HND level in Manufacturing Systems or a similar Engineering discipline.
• Experience in the following software applications:- RobCAD; Team Centre; Microsoft Office; Process Simulate

Experience with the following would be desirable but not essential:

• Catia V5, Fides, AutoCAD, Process Designer
• Automotive design and production experience
