Consultant Physical Scientist (Hertford)
Our Client is a multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers. They develop leading-edge technologies and products based on them. Our work includes development of micro-mechanical, piezoelectronic, fluidic and optical devices for markets ranging from healthcare to consumer products.
They are seeking a technically excellent, creative, physical scientist or engineer with strong multidisciplinary experience.
The successful candidate will have both an aptitude and interest in commercial technology and product development, top-level academic credentials anddemonstrated drive and commitment.
Qualifications:
- Excellent academic track record
- Interest in practical development of diagnostics or life science instrumentation
- Employment track record, PhD or varied research experience in the physical or biophysical sciences or engineering
- Experience in development of novel tools for life sciences, diagnostics, microdevices, biophysical measurement techniques
- Market awareness, with interest and capability in identifying new market opportunities for technology
Role:
- Contribute to technically demanding development projects in a technical and/or project management capacity
- Take responsibility for best in class project delivery
- Identify and pursue opportunities to develop new technology and business opportunities through individual and team creativity, building relationships with international clients
