Civil Engineering Estimator ideally degree qualified within the construction sector is required for a developing team based in Hamilton for a UK leading modular building construction company.

The Civil Engineering Estimators work will be supporting the Sales and Hire Commercial teams in winning business by providing and managing a profitable design, costing, consultancy and project support service. In order to meet increasing demands you will need to be fully IT proficient ideally with a strong background in Excel, Word, AutoCAD and SAP.

You will be responsible for the following:

- Manage and take responsibility for designs and costing for civil requirement aspects within the Sales and Hire commercial teams tender and quotation submissions.
- Provide a planning and building warrant service to both Sales and Hire commercial teams on behalf of their clients.
- Tender out works packages based upon one or all items described under "Purpose" on front page on documents ensuring compliance with clients main tender documents for inclusion in the full tender returns in a timely manner as agreed with the appropriate commercial team.
- Assist the commercial departments in the preparation and presentation of final accounts with regards to all elements of civil works and professional services used in those contracts under your remit.
- Establish and manage a "bank" of approved sub-contractors regionally to support our projects both at bid stages and execution on all elements of civil works required.

This role has a salary circa £30,000pa plus a Company Car. Being educated to degree level would be advantageous however we would also consider applicants a HNC in a construction related subject.

You will be experienced with Civil Engineering practices and will have operated in a Quantity Surveyor or Estimating position previously. You will be required to have a full UK driving licence.
