This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate, with industry experience, and possessing excellent communication and organisational skills to develop a career in Automotive Trim Engineering with a centre of excellence for vehicle product development.
Working with an experienced Engineer as mentor, the successful candidate will be working on a proof of concept vehicle featuring state of the art interior and exterior trim.
Aspects of the job will include, working with prototype trim parts suppliers to ensure that all parts are production representative and meet agreed attribute targets, support cross-functional reviews with styling, engineering and suppliers to ensure all targets are met and issues resolved, ensure that all trim parts are released in line with the Engineering Timing Release Schedule to meet part manufacture and build schedule, support the build of parts onto the vehicle.
To be considered for this job you must:
- Hold an Honours Degree or higher qualification in Automotive Engineering or an Engineering or Science discipline
- Have worked in industry, ideally automotive else aerospace or rail
- Be energetic, enthusiastic and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Possess good logical reasoning, task planning ability and analytical skills
