A Chemical Project Engineer is required for one of the Worlds’ leading structural materials companies based in Cambridgeshire to successfully lead and participate in engineering projects in Cambridgeshire.
The successful applicant will hold a recognised Chemical Engineering degree or equivalent and have proven project chemical engineering experience in a manufacturing or process environment.
Must have project management experience within multi-disciplinary teams together with design and specification of industrial chemical processes. Along with demonstrable ability to lead and control capital projects.
Experience of industry standard risk assessment techniques such as HAZOP, LOPA.
Reporting to the Project Manager, the role will be to provide Chemical Engineering skills and knowledge to the Project Engineering team for key capital projects. on site.
Ensure key KPI’s for each capital project of time, cost and performance are achieved.
Project scope definition and capital funding request. Maintaining and reporting timeline to the team/management.
