A degree qualified in Electronics or Electrical Engineering, Senior Hardware Engineer is required for this West London based automotive company to work on the development of real time electronic engine management systems for use in heavy duty diesel truck applications.

Knowledge of diesel engine systems and automotive sensors and actuators would be advantageous along with an understanding of real time systems fundamentals and elements.

Key responsibilities:
Part of a team responsible for development of ECU hardware for customer specific applications.
Capture requirements and generate specifications to manage the ECU supplier.
Support customer programme activities e.g. EMC conformance testing, FMEA, project and design reviews etc.
Test and debug ECU installations onsite and at customer locations
Bench testing of prototype electronic hardware to meet acceptance criteria.
Design and develop prototype circuits for future systems
Self motivated, attention to detail and ability to work unsupervised

As the Senior Hardware Engineer you will be familiar with schematic capture and circuit simulation tools and solid experience of working in a design and development environment on digital, analogue and PSU designs.
