Our client is a world-leader in the provision of project management, technical engineering and construction services to the Water industry, on programs ranging from Water Supply, Treatment and Storage to Water Resources Management and Coastal Restoration. They are currently looking to appoint a Technical Delivery Manager at their Peterborough office on a contract or permanant basis.
The Technical Delivery Manager is responsible for the production of all the technical deliverables required in the common delivery process, outperforming on cost while maintaining quality and delivering on time.
You will have responsibility for:
- Assisting the Project Manager in the production of the design information required under CDM
- Planning the technical aspects of the projects and agree every plan for stage with the Project Manager
- Ensuring that Health and Safety risks are minimised in the design process
- Managing the technical teams to ensure successful delivery - set clear standards and expectations
- Be the key interface between the design team and all other departments, working closely with the discipline heads to oversee all technical work
- Working with the Project Manager to forecast and manage resource costs throughout the project
- Manage key technical stakeholders, including liaison with the end-user and construction representatives
Educated with Degree qualification in one of the following disciplines - Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Process along with experience in Water/Wastewater treatment plants.
