This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Mechanical Project Engineer who will be responsible for leading numerous sustaining capital and continuous improvement projects, from the concept stage to completion.
The Mechanical projects engineer's duties are paramount to the success of the business, vary across a number of engineering disciplines and will need to be delivered to schedule and within budget.

Projects will need to be completed in line with all relevant Health, Safety, Environmental, Quality and Performance related regulations, policies and procedures.

The successful applicant will be a mechanical engineering graduate with minimum project experience within a metal or manufacturing industry and refractory experience would be a massive advantage but not a must, training and experience in electrical/electronic engineering would also be highly advantageous.

Excellent communication skills are a pre-requisite of the role as working with and achieving buy-in from various levels of the organisation and with a wide variety of customers and suppliers is essential.
Numerous projects will be running simultaneously, so good organising skills are paramount.
