Quality Engineer – Nuneaton – Upto £35k

Based in Nuneaton, this growing aerospace and medical sector machining and processing company is seeking a Quality Engineer to support their growing customer base and range of capabilities.  Reporting the QM, this role is to ensure that their manufactured components are inline with their customers and regulatory requirements.

Primarily, the role is to:

  • Investigate and reduce non-conformance in the company
  • Conduct 8D investigations into customer returns
  • Engage and improve manufacturing methods using WINSPC data
  • Assist in any internal and sub-contractor auditing
  • Issue and maintain reports and data as requested by the organisation
  • Lead and assist with any quality / technical liaison meetings internally or with the customer
  • Help and assist with the maintenance of the quality management systems

To support this position, you must have an existing working exposure to the aerospace sector and relevant regulatory requirements.  In addition, you also should have the ability to communicate and work in all areas of this business, and at all levels.

This is a very much hands-on role and is seeking someone with a strong approach ideally with an engineering background from within either the machining / fabrication / processing sectors.  You should have working knowledge of 8D processes and other suitable established tools for
problem solving.
