This is a 12 month contract role for an experienced automotive Tooling/Die Engineer to work in a major OEM, working out of their Halewood facility, the role will be working on new build SUV's and 4x4 vehicles.

We have 1 space to submit people who have the following skills and experience:

- Ensuring new die sets are manufactured to the required standards and problem solving any issues within in automotive environment (SMED)
- Review and understand the stamping process and die designs (manufacturing processes and methods) and delivering them to the relevant departments
- Apprentice trained 
 
Educational achievements are not as relevant as working experience with this role so we encourage anyone who has all the criteria above to apply. We estimate a start date in February 2013 for a period of 12 months initially paying a very good hourly rate of £24.53 per hour (LTD).
