This position is very much an implementation role; it`s not a hands on type of position. You`ll be working in an established manufacturing team to develop more functional process systems; this is from the beginning of the process looking after the full product lifecycle. The role is largely based around NPI (designing of new engines) through to BOM (MFGPro) and onwards, regularly liaising with the product and process departments.
The firm are looking for a person who has some demonstrable experience in this type of systems implementation role, ideally from a manufacturing background. Experience of 3D designing would be great (AutoCAD/Pro E) as well as being able to converse with other departments, designers and clients.
It`s a very varied role, hence the diverse skill set required; a role that will allow you to develop systems across the whole company and introduce your own ideas/methodology based on your experience.
