Supplier Quality Improvement Leader

£35k - 40k per year + Bonus
Our client is a leader in design, manufacture and support of world leading turbo chargers and associated equipment.
Due to growth plans a position of SQI / Supplier Quality Improvement Leader has become available, and as such we welcome applicants who want a fresh challenge, and meet the requirements below: To track and manage key quality metrics for the programs, suppliers and department.
To summarize and present status at key Functional and Management Reviews.
To manage select set of suppliers and interface with plant customers.
To oversee, direct and continually improve the activities of Supplier Quality Management.
Travel between 20% and 40% may be required
To manage the successful re-sourcing of current product or process approval of new product utilizing the tools of APQP
Implementation of Quality management and process improvement tools
- Bachelors degree in Engineering / related subject or relevant experience (Engineering apprenticeship or experience of working within a quality function)
- Quality, Audits, APQP, PPAP, Run @ rate, Supplier Assessment
- Working within a TS16949 / ISO 9001 auditing and management system experience essential
