Contract Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Co-ordinator - Tier 1 Automotive - Birmingham - Hourly rate (DOE)

A Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Co-ordinator with knowledge of an Automotive or fast pace Manufacturing environment and experience of analysing site risks to offer improvement solutions is required for an initial 3 month period, though expectation is that it should go on for longer.

Along with a proven track record in industry it is expected that you will be degree qualified or offer an appropriate higher education qualification of relevance and offer knowledge of national legislation appropriate to Automotive production. Operation of HSE methodology in your daily role is essential, as is proven experience of audits and compliance with ISO policies.

You will:
- Lead and develop the site management and workforce
- Propose and implement the next years HSE action plan to the site management
- Organise and carry out HSE audits, training required and accident enquiries
- Monitor legal compliance and relations with external parties and monitor the reporting of the companies HSE functions
