Electronics and Controls Engineer - Motorsport - Oxfordshire - £Neg+

An Electronics and Control Engineer is required on a permanent basis to work within the Prototype and Test Department of one of the Worlds iconic motorsport companies. The department provides support to projects including high performance vehicles and the supply of KERS to other teams.
As the Electronics and Controls Engineer you will have full involvement in all electronics and control activities within the Prototype and Test areas.
Duties include:
-Involvement from loom design through to manufacture
-Writing and maintaining control software in dSpace and Matlab
-Carrying out earth bonding safety checks on test cell equipment
-Liaising with Electronics Design Engineers - internal and customer projects.
-Testing
Ideally the successful Electronics and Controls Engineer will have some electrical, electronic and control engineering experience gained within motorsport or other related industry.
You will be familiar with ATLAS, dSpace and Matlab/Simulink and once full training has been given you will be responsible for the care of the battery simulator and assist with electronic specifications of new test rigs, amongst other activities.
The successful applicant must be able to work extended hours where necessary to meet project deadlines and be willing to learn new skills to cover the complete range of tasks that this role will entail.
