Principal Design Engineer - Staffordshire - £40-55k

Do you have experience managing the design and development of mechanical engineering projects? Have you lead teams within an automotive environment?
If yes, we require a mechanical engineering-qualified Principal Design Engineer to lead the design and development of innovative construction vehicles for a major manufacturer in the Midlands.
The successful candidate will have some of the following skills and experiences:
- Design and development history
- Mechanical engineer background
- Ability to lead engineering team
- Proven technical project delivery
- Heavy goods vehicles
- 3D CAD skills
It’s a strong advantage if you have worked with design and development projects in an automotive engineering environment. However, a mechanical Design Engineer with a history of leading projects from a non-automotive background, such as rail and aerospace, will also be considered.
