Client is among the market leaders in the remanufacturing of high quality machine tools such as grinders and machining centres. They specialise in machine tool refits/modifications to customise to customer requirements.

A new 3 month contract opportunity has arisen for a Controls Engineer, with particular experience in writing, installing and commissioning of Siemens S7 software.

Based in Tamworth, the individual will be responsible for the following:

- Working on a number of system integration projects for the Automotive sector.
- Using Siemens S7 to programme PLC`s for robots and machine tools.
- Project based role, design, programming, installation and commissioning of Siemens S7 software.
- Willing to work and travel across Europe.
- Project engineering responsibility.


Role Requirements:

- Experienced in the writing of Siemens S7 software.
- Ability to programme the software, install and commission it on site.
- Capability to debug any issues.
- Knowledge of the Automotive sector.
- Own car and own tools required - Travel expenses will be paid.
- Problem Solving.
- Able to work on own or as part of a small team.
