Production Engineer

The company is a leading international development partner to the automobile and engine industry. They looking to appoint a Production Engineer. The person will need to design, implement, monitor, improve and maintain production processes. They will consult with customer design engineers in order to achieve the most efficient and cost effective way of producing the highest quality product possible.
The role will cover:
Improve existing operations incorporating new methods and processes. Handing materials and equipment purchase and installation during the first manufacture of new products. Investigate operational problems affecting production. Co-ordinating projects. Will need some project management experience of delivering engineering projects. Flexible with working hours to meet project needs.
Previous experience: Proven experience gained within low volume high added value machining and assembly processes, preferably gained within an automotive environment.
