We are recruiting for a Material Planner on a permanent basis near to Country Durham.
We have a Material Planning position within Manufacturing Logistics. You will be working within a customer focused team, the Material Planner has the following responsibilities:
- Take a role within the material planning area.
- Initiate, coordinate and participate in activities to ensure optimum inventory levels.
- Ensure that deliveries take place on the scheduled date, in the correct containers and in the quantity specified.
- Control inventory levels for outgoing parts to eliminate RSSM costs.
- Perform all tasks to sustain CPS Performance levels.
- Attend regular client NPI meetings.
- Manage workloads within the team on a daily basis.
- Collate and report monthly performance figures.
Applicants must have the following skills/experience:
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Experience in Logistics.
- Knowledge of Glovia and MRP systems would be an advantage.
- PC skills are essential.
- Ability to work well within a team environment.
- Self motivated with good attention to detail.
