This Environmental, Health and Safety Officer role is a pivotal role for this busy Tier 1 Automotive Supplier and you will play a key role in delivering safe and sustainable improvements to the site and developing a cultural and mindset change across the site. Core duties will include, reporting of EHS metrics / incident investigation support / training and coaching of team members / risk assessment / workplace inspection and auditing / implementation support of management systems.

In addition to a sound understanding of EHS legislation, you should be NEBOSH NGC or Level 3 certified and possess an IEMA Certificate ideally. An Automotive background is desired but not essential, what is essential however is an understanding of the pressures placed upon such a role in a high pressured, high volume Manufacturing environment.
