Position Description:
1. Ensure that new Chassis and Brake designs are compatible with brake refinement targets.
2. Participate in CAE, Dyno and X1 vehicle pre-development loops to install refinement counter-measures before M1.
3. Benchmark appropriate competitor vehicles, including development of any new tests required to characterise the NVH attributes of the brake system.
4. Work closely with CoC teams, especially chassis teams to identify cost effective solutions to any Brake NVH issues.
5. Assist development of modeling techniques for early identification of Brake NVH issues.

Experience Required:
You will have knowledge of brake system design and be able to identify the specifications that influence Brake attributes. You will have strong team working skills and will have experience of issue resolution within cross-functional teams. An understanding of related Chassis systems, such as suspension structures, is desirable. Experience of vehicle test and subjective evaluation is required. Knowledge of industry standard NVH measurement systems (LMS Test.lab, HEAD Artemis, Link etc.) is an advantage Ideally you will be degree qualified in a mechanical discipline. Usage of 6-sigma disciplines is desirable. Experience of modelling mechanical system interactions using simulation packages or Excel/VB is desirable.br

Education Required:
Educated to degree level or equivalent experience. Experience of modelling mechanical system interactions using simulation packages or Excel/VB is desirable.
