Consultant Mechanical Engineer – Systems Technology

Our Client is a multi-disciplinary team of scientists and engineers who develop leading-edge products and systems, often based on new and emerging technologies. Their work includes development of products, instruments and systems in a diverse range of fields including industrial, consumer, healthcare and life science.
In support of this developing activity, they are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with a high degree of technical aptitude, creative flair and strong interest in commercial technology and product development.
The roles is to apply mechanical engineering skills within dynamic, multidisciplinary teams to create innovative and effective solutions to real-world problems.
Communication and participation with the client will be required and you will need to take responsibility and identify the best opportunities and routes for success.
- You will need to have top-level academic credentials including a 1st or high 2:1 degree from a leading university
- You will need to be able to demonstrate analytical, practical and creative skills.
- You must be able to apply mechanical engineering skills and pragmatic judgement under tight deadlines
- Experience of a commercial environment is highly desirable. This should be supported by good market awareness with a keen interest in identifying new market opportunities.
