Quality Engineer – Automotive – North West – excellent salary plus benefits
A Quality Engineer with proven experience in a relevant industry is required to work for a market leader in luxury high volume vehicles. This role is part of an exciting expansion of the team in order to meet an increase in demand.
As Quality Engineer you will
* Be instrumental in driving forward the quality of the vehicles
* Help to manage any quality issues around the quality of parts supplied during the build process or fitted prior to sale.
* Work with the manufacturing and engineering departments, and directly with suppliers, to identify root causes of problems, and ensure solutions are implemented.
The salary for this role is negotiable, depending on experience, plus benefits. You will have a Degree level qualification and proven experience of lean / continuous improvement tools and practical problem solving in a quality focussed environment. You will be expected to utilise problem solving documents and technical tools such as SPC, FMEAs and control plans.
