A Chassis Concept Specification Engineer with is required to work within Chassis Engineering on contract for our Client, an OEM specialising in luxury and SUV/Off road vehicles.

The position will be based in the West Midlands.

Positions description:
Produce Concept definition sheets (CDS). Benchmarking comparisons with OEM Products. Recommendations on system component technical targets (inc weights). Agree targets with key attribute teams (e.g. VeDs, NVH, ORC)

Experience / education required:
-Technically knowledgeable of the automotive industry and technology trends.
-Good demonstrable knowledge of a broad range of Chassis systems.
-Experience of performance target setting and working with standards.
-Experience of component and system design specification definition.
-Experience of benchmarking of technologies and performance characteristics of vehicle systems.
