Quality Engineer – Automotive – West Midlands – excellent salary plus benefits
A Quality Engineer with experience in a machining / assembly production environment is required to work with this leading prestigious
automotive company based in the West Midlands. This is an exciting time to join the company as they are expanding at an astounding rate and pushing forward into key markets worldwide. This role will be based at their new plant based in the West Midlands.
You must have experience with:
* Automotive Quality Engineering at production launch stage
* Problem solving – improving process standards
* Developing and implementing systems
* Metrology and statistical methods
* Facilitating continuous improvement and learning through training and communication of quality initiatives
* Auditing quality systems
* Good working knowledge of quality tools including PFMEA, PPAP, 8D and Capability studies
The salary for this role is negotiable, depending on experience, plus an excellent benefit package including access to a car
purchase scheme, pension and bonus scheme. You will be educated to degree level in an industrial or mechanical engineering subject.
