Our Client is seeking an Experienced Project Engineer with excellent mechanical engineering skills, and who has first class technical and communication skills, and experience at leading large multi-disciplinary projects and have an aptitude for developing new business.

Their organisation is a multi-disciplinary team of scientists and engineers who develop leading-edge products and systems, often based on new and emerging technologies. Their work includes development of micro-mechanical, piezoelectronic, fluidic and optical devices for markets ranging from healthcare to consumer products.

The role is to:

• Deliver results as a project and technical leader of development programmes using your extensive engineering experience.  This will mean making sound technical and project decisions while controlling time lines and budgets
• Take responsibility for all aspects of client communication and management, focussing on the clients’ needs and exceeding their expectations
• Identify and pursue opportunities to develop new business through individual and team efforts.

You will need to have a 1^st or high 2:1 degree from a leading university, supported by a proven track record in project management, mechanical engineering and product development.

You will need to be able to demonstrate success at leading teams and delivering projects for technical and product developments to budget
and timescales.

In addition, you will have strong market awareness and a capability to identify new business opportunities.
