Our client is a world leader in the innovation, design and manufacture of Diesel Fuel Injection equipment and are now looking for an Advanced Quality Engineer to identify, drive and manage improvements in the quality aspects of TCG electronics activities, including systems, software, hardware and project management.
As the Advanced Quality Engineer you will be responsible for:

Performing and reporting local site and project audits.
Ensure that all customer identified quality issues undergo a formal problem analysis process (such as 5why).
Lead and document all formal problem solving analyses carried out as a result of 1, 2, 3.
Present the quality driven action list resulting from 4 at the monthly management meeting.
Project manages all quality driven actions of 4 to a satisfactory conclusion.
Ensure measures of performance are defined for project and functional process performance.
Collect, collate, analyse project and functional process measures of performance and present at the monthly management meeting.
Ensure the needs of the site Quality Organisation are met.
The successful candidate will be degree level qualified in software or electronic engineering with experience of working in a quality role covering software development.
Experience in problem solving techniques, including 8D and 5Why.
Comfortable to working a software engineer role across a number of customer project teams, leading problem solving sessions and leading process improvement initiatives
Assessment experience against a software model i.e. CMM, SPICE

Existing hours of work comprise a weekly total of 37 hours on day shift basis.
08:00 16:30hrs Mon to Thurs and 08:00 - 13:00hrs Fri
