Delphi Diesel Systems are a world leader in the innovation, design and manufacture of Diesel Fuel Injection equipment and are now looking to recruit Engine Fault Manager/Diagnostic Calibration Engineers who will understand the clients requirements on their common rail diesel fuel injection and control systems including engine development and manufacturing implications arising from the application.
The Calibration Engineers will devise and execute test and analysis work on fuel injection equipment rigs, engines and vehicles. Write reports and present results.
You will have close liaison with client (including short periods at client premises) to monitor project progress, track components, train client engineers in Common Rail systems and assist in troubleshooting on calibration, mechanical and electronic issues. Support to, or take responsibility for (depending on skills), aspects of engine and Fuel Injection Equipment system calibration.
The Calibration Engineers will hold a degree (or equivalent) in mechanical engineering or related subject.
Experience of diesel and/or gasoline engine calibration. A good team player with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills and be able to work in a multi-disciplinary group with limited supervision.
