Delphi Diesel Systems are a World leader in the innovation, design and manufacture of Diesel Fuel Injection equipment, now require Engine Control Unit (ECU) Systems Engineers for their Research and Development Centres in London and Kent.
As the ECUSystems Engineers you will develop real-time electronic control systems for diesel fuel injection equipment and other integrated engine and vehicle electronic systems.
The roles main duties will be drawn from the following:
Capturing and analysing customer requirements, designing control algorithms (using Simulink), designing system diagnostics and CAN communication specifications
Applying existing control strategies
Developing validation tests for Hardware-in-Loop (HiL)
Calibrating sensor interfaces and diagnostic strategies
Calibrating servo controls and regulators
Supporting customer s engine and vehicle testing
Supporting system and hardware Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA)
Educated to degree level in electronic, electromechanical or mechanical engineering with experience of developing real time embedded control systems and defining control strategies in Simulink.
