Our Client is a World Leader in the innovation, Design and Manufacture of Diesel Fuel Injection Equipment are and now looking for a Software Engineer to work on a contract basis to develop complex real-time electronic control systems for use with diesel fuel injection equipment.
The software engineer s main activities will be drawn from, but not limited to, the following:

Software
Use of RTW to generate auto code from Matlab/Simulink from executable specification
Manual coding of software from model specification using MISRA C under a defined process
Configuration Controlled and Managed by ClearQuest/ClearCase
Static Analysis using QAC to MISRA (plus local) guidelines
For PowerPC (Diab Data compiler) and C167 (Tasking compiler) target platforms

Testing
Participate in software review, debug and analysis
Software level module testing of hand written code using RTRT
Software level module testing of auto generated code using Reactis
Software level unit testing using Polyspace
Ideally the successful applicant will hold a degree with experience in an embedded application field.
Previous experience in developing real time systems with proven hands on experience on Matlab/Simulink and development of embedded C Code

An understanding of diesel application and associated fuel injection equipment with hands on experience on RTW would be ideal.
