Global Planning Manager

The World`s leading advanced structural materials company now require a Global Planning Manager to lead the development of the Global Strategy for the planning and scheduling activities across the business and to support the implementation of standardised planning policies that are consistent with industry best practice.
Experience is required in the following activities:-
Experience in a senior position of a multi-national with responsibility for Global Planning Management
Significant Strategic production planning experience for a multi-site International Company.
Experience of assessing a manufacturing site s capability to achieve effective production planning.
Experience of dealing with multiple ERP systems.
Experience in leading improvement programs across many sites.
Establishing policy for production planning and scheduling so as to optimize cost, inventory and customer service levels.
Establishing key metrics to monitor adherence to and effectiveness of planning policy
Experience of working in a multi-national business with levels of vertical integration
Must be comfortable communicating with people at all levels of the business.
Must have experience of businesses with an established SOP process.
Must have drive, enthusiasm and be self motivated
Must be able to undertake regular international travel.
Ideally degree qualified, as the Global Planning Manager you will have proven experience of working with a large European involvement with Planning or some Global experience looking for next step up.
