A Climate Electronics System Engineering is required to work within Electrical Engineering on contract for our Client, an OEM specialising in luxury and SUV/Off road vehicles.
The position will be based in the West Midlands.

Positions description:
Working within the Electrical Departments as part of the Climate Electronics team, responsible for delivering complex integrated systems to new vehicle programmes. Climate Electronics commodities have to interface with a significant number of other vehicle systems including Powertrain, Infotainment, Charging and Power Supply, Seating , Switchgear, Interior Trim and Glazing in order to deliver an optimised customer experience.

The team have direct responsibility for software commodities including HVAC , Auxiliary Heating and Climate Seat ECUs as well as associated transducers and additional supporting components. In addition, Climate Electronics are responsible for defining and verifying the required systems and signals to implement the Climate Control HMI.

Experience / education required:
-Ability to deliver complex Engineering System commodities to a set timeframe.
-Ability to generate and understand Engineering Specifications.
-Previous experience of delivering an Engineering commodity to a fixed timeframe and budget.
-A full driving licence valid for the UK.
-Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant Engineering discipline.
