As NPI Coordinator on a 12-month contract, you will be working for Turner Powertrain Systems, part of the UK Caterpillar Group located in Wolverhampton (West Midlands). They are a market leaders in the design, development, manufacture, sales and support of off-highway transmissions for Backhoe Loaders, Telescopic Material Handlers and 4-9 tonne Site Dumpers.

You will co-ordinate the design and development of new gearboxes for off highway vehicles, work with a technical lead to create project plans, including budgets and schedules, using a very clearly defined corporate work breakdown structure.

You are required to have relevant project management experience in:
- Similar scale of complexity: 8 phase, stage / gate process,
- Timescale: two to four years project duration,
- Budget: £1m£5m,
- Ideally in a related technical field, such as automotive, off-highway vehicle, driveline or powertrain system or component design,
- Ideally with experience of running projects using Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) methods.

Essential skills include:
- Advanced levels of organisation and planning, including use of MS project
- Advanced levels of communication, including formal presentation skills
- Problem solving

Applicants will have a degree level qualification in a science or engineering subject along with recognising project management and APQP training qualification are highly advantageous.
