Project Leader - Automotive - Technical - Kent - £Competitive

A leading automotive company based in Kent is now looking for a degree educated Technical Project Leader to take responsibility for coordinating all the engineering activities on specific customer pump applications both in development and production, be the customer technical interface, and represent Engineering in cross functions teams.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Managing the Engineering activities to ensure alignment with overall project timing
Lead the technical communication with the customers
Agree pump packaging with the customer
Define prototype definition (BOM) for all development and PPAP samples
Lead and apply PDP process for Design reviews and represent Engineering
The Technical Project Leader will ideally hold a degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent with project management experience gained within a design/development background.
Must have experience of working on multiple projects – 3-4 at any time
This position involves regular travel, therefore the successful applicant must be able willing to travel to customer sites.
