A Mechanical Design Engineer fully conversant with Solidworks is required for major new project with a market leading engine testing Systems Company based in Worcester.

This role is part of an exciting new expansion of the design team that will be designing vehicle and engine testing equipment.

Duties involved with this role will include:
- To produce layout and detail drawings on electronic design systems: Solidworks (solid model), Co-create (solid model) and AutoCAD (2D).
- Design calculations to be produced supporting all designs.
- To produce Bills of Materials supporting design of all components.
- To prepare equipment build and test procedures.
- To be familiar with HandS and Risk Assessments within all aspects of engineering design/production of technical files and understanding of CE marking.

You will fully conversant with Solidworks and have a good knowledge of machining/production techniques. HNC/HND or Degree qualified with the ability to perform engineering design calculations. Knowledge of CE marking would be viewed very advantageously.

This is a Contracting position with a pay rate between £30-£35 Ltd Co dependant on experience. Initially for 6months our client envisages this role to continue on for substantially longer.
