Project Engineer, Electrical & Electronic Design, Stoke, c.£35k + Benefits

Our client is pioneering the commercial engineering development within the Ceramics Industry.

Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team of exceptional scientists and engineers the Project Engineer will play a central role in the installation and commissioning of this equipment.  A key responsibility will be the design of electronics for the application of DC fields in high temperature environments. This will require close integration with the broader aspects of this exciting and challenging project to develop the technology for full scale commercial application.

The main objectives for the role will be:

  • Working with the team to complete facility installation to time and budget
  • Design electrical and electronic hardware for the application of DC electric fields in high temperature environments
  • Work with the Project Scientific Leader to source equipment and electrical/electronic engineering works
  • Prepare technical documentation and reports
  • Establish close working relationships with our commercial clients and gain a detailed understanding of their needs across a variety of disciplines
  • Integrate and share knowledge as part of a multi-disciplinary team

Demonstrable experience with the design and specification of electronics in capital projects is essential.

Ideal educated to Degree level in a relevant Electrical / Electronic Engineering
