QUALITY LEAD – MANUFACTURING – OXFORD – CONTRACT 1-2 YRS+

We are recruiting for a Quality Lead to provide Engineering support programme activities within new vehicle build programmes through the management and leadership of validation and corrective action within product quality to ensure timelines are achieved. The main focus will be to support, manage and deliver on vehicle plans with regards to quality concerns and request from process partners.

You must have experience with:

• Leading Quality activities with vehicle build or automotive component suppliers.
• Using problem-solving tools, such as 5 Whys, Ishikawa, SPC and 8D.
• Be qualified in an engineering related discipline, Degree/HNC/NVQ/ Apprenticeship.
• Candidates with experience of resolving quality within new vehicle or project based roles within vehicle assembly, E/E, body engineering, interior trim, exterior trim, paint and BIW will be at an advantage.

We require flexible candidates who have strong communication, leadership and co-ordination skills coupled with an analytical approach to problem solving to resolve quality build issues efficiently would be advantageous. Applicants will have responsibility for resolving quality concerns to ensure production gateways are achieved in an effective manner to ensure quality standards are maintained across the whole build programme.

The Contract hourly pay rate for these quality related positions will be based at varying levels dependant on skills, grade and experience, expected rates with the contract duration being between 12 – 24 months+. Candidates with experience of quality tools allied vehicle assembly, body engineering, interior trim, exterior trim, paint and BIW will be at an advantage.
