Packaging Technologist – FMCG – Oxfordshire – 9 Month Contract - £17.91p/h
The Packaging Technologist role is responsible for leading and delivering an initiative to improve the quality of specifications within my clients packaging groups in the Oxfordshire area. This role is part of an exciting new project to raise the quality levels for this blue chip company.
As part of the role you will be required to liaise with internal stakeholders, plants and suppliers to generate best in class data, - Input all data into the system in an accurate and timely manner - Manage project with clear plans, tracking mechanism. Provide clear reporting and communication of progress, flagging and resolution of issues Scope of project involves all externally manufactured specifications and beverages.
You must have experience with:
- Building networks within global RD&Q, EMEA Marketing/Procurement/Manufacturing and externally at Suppliers
- Guiding and managing similar projects
- Influencing the development of new packaging ideas
- Technical glass packaging experience
The hourly rate for this role is £17.91 and the contract is to run for a minimum of 9 months. Interviews are going to take week commencing 19th November with a view to starting ASAP. Being educated to degree level in packaging or hold a Packaging IOP diploma would be advantageous.
