Due to impressive growth plans, our client is seeking to appoint a number of Design Engineers to strengthen the engineering team and to help drive and support the development of current and future product ranges In this role you`ll be given Design projects in a true cradle to grave environment, given total ownership of the project life cycle, whether this is a large project, or centred on individual components

Utilizing your existing skills, you will also be trained from day one in company standards and procedures to ensure you are able to make an outstanding contribution as part of a flexible work force, which thrives on producing a world class product.

Knowledge of Pro Engineer / Wildfire would be good but not essential due to in-house training facilcities (knowledge of other 3D CAD systems is equally useful)

  • Educated to at least a 2:2 degree in Mechanical / Automotive Engineering.
  • Proven track record as a Design or Project Engineer
  • Flexibility to travel to Europe and occasional worldwide locations
  • Driven to succeed

Our client is a leading technical supplier to the automotive industry, and due to exceptional growth plans and current business requirements, they are looking to appoint a Electrical Design Engineer as such we welcome applicant who meet the criteria below:

In this role you will be required to design and deliver solutions for the electrical and vehicle integration aspects of engineering projects
. You will need to provide expertise in the areas of vehicle electrical systems and vehicle networking, as well as keep abreast of future developments in all areas.

  • Design of vehicle electrical systems
  • Interfacing to vehicle networks (e.g. CAN)
  • Validation of vehicle electrical and diagnostic systems
  • Preparation of electrical schematics.
  • Design of vehicle harnesses.
  • Specification and selection of electrical components including sensors, connectors and actuators.
  • Testing and evaluation of electrical components.
  • Integration of components and systems onto existing vehicle systems.
  • Preparation of BOMs and liaison with component and wiring harness suppliers.
  • Commissioning and fault finding of vehicle electrical systems.
  • Preparation of FMEAs and design validation documentation.
  • Preparation and monitoring of project plans.
