Automotive Engineering to Order Engineer – to £28ph – West Mids

Are you an engineer with experience working in an automotive environment ideally in whole vehicle or engineering to order?

If you have design experience, using Catia V5, project/programme experience including planning and management or a working knowledge of the automotive development process then this could be for you.

A number of vacancies exist for automotive engineers on long term contracts with a market leading OEM based in the West Midlands. You will be working on future model programs of all-terrain/off-road and prestigious vehicles within their ‘engineering to order’ department and may have skills with;

• Project leadership and management - whole vehicle or ETO projects
• Working knowledge of product development processes
• Launch experience
• Design experience – Catia V5
• Component design, production and manufacturing
• Product delivery processes using GPDS; eFDVS.
• Change management processes such as AIMS; WERS; GPIRS

Engineering to order experience is essential although a background in the automotive industry is a desired it is not essential so please do not hesitate to apply if you have the relevant skills in project management, Catia V5 design or component design etc.
