CNC Setter / Operator (Contract  Night Shift) negotiable rates

A new vacancy has arisen for a CNC Machinist Setter/Operator reporting to the Head of Machining.

You will be responsible for setting and operating CNC machinery, producing high quality metallic components.

Key Accountabilities/Duties include:

• Producing the highest quality machined components to a rigid time schedule.
• Ensuring that appropriate process and procedures are adhered to in order to maintain high quality.
• Setting and operating CNC machinery from provided setup sheets and programs to produce metallic car components.
• Maximising throughput of machined components.

The successful applicant will have a proven background in high accuracy machining, having completed a recognised apprenticeship or equivalent qualification

Candidates with experience of operating Mori Seiki NT 5 axis mill/turn centres or Matsuura Mam72-35v 5 axis milling centres are preferred. 

Previous experience of Catia CAD/CAM software would be advantageous but is not essential.
