Senior Plant Operator – Dudley - £24k to £27k

A Senior Plant Operator with a background and understanding of pressure boilers or steam turbine processes is required for a market leading Energy company based in Dudley. Contributing and working within an established team you will be monitoring the operation of the boilers and turbines for the generation of steam within the plant.

As Senior Plant Operator you will be responsible for working with a small team of up to 7 staff managing and monitoring all functions associated with the operation of plant turbine, boilers and co-ordination of incoming and outgoing waste.

You will be responsible for the following:

• Report and monitor performance, by operating the plant turbine, boilers, and coordinate incoming and outgoing waste.
• To maintain a steady control of the above by measuring temperature flow, pressure readings from the turbine/boiler, control systems and gauges.
• Accurately report readings and log daily operations in the shift log for continued monitoring and shift changeovers.
• Effectively react to planned and unplanned (i.e. emergency) repairs, blockages and changes in the plant central systems.

This role would be working a continental shift pattern of 4 days on 4 days off (2 x days/2 x nights - 12 hour shifts) with a basic salary of between £24k & £27kpa dependent on experience.

Ideally you will have experience of operating and understanding boiler or steam turbine plants with a good knowledge of process applications.
