CNC Machinist - (Fixed Term Contract – Day Shift) Contract Rates Northamptonshire
A vacancy has arisen for a CNC Machinist within the Pattern Shop or our Client reporting to the Pattern and Composite Machining Manager.
You will be responsible for machining patterns and composite components to tight tolerances using Jobs 5 axis machinery.
Key Accountabilities/Duties include
- Machining model patterns and moulds.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
The successful candidate will have a recognised apprenticeship or equivalent qualification in pattern making/machining. A proven competence with 3 and 5 Axis CNC machines is essential and knowledge of Siemens 840D controllers and Delcam CAD/CAM software would also be beneficial.
For all of these positions you will possess high levels of drive and able to make decisions within a pressurised environment.
Flexibility in hours and approach is required, along with the ability to work under minimum supervision with a “can do” team playing attitude.
