Logistics Team Leader - Automotive - Basildon, Essex - £Neg

A Logistics Team Leader is required for this Basildon based large successful automotive supplier. This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful and growing company at an exciting time in their history.

The successful applicant will be responsible for managing company inventory and maintaining the required stock holding
You will also ensure that customer's orders are fulfilled on time, whilst maintaining the business objectives.

Main Duties
-Monitoring the quality, cost and efficiency of the movement and storage of goods.
-Ensuring customer Portal data (ASN) are aligned to customer expectations.
-Co-ordinating and controlling the order cycle and associated information systems.
-Analysing data to monitor performance and plan improvements
-Allocating and managing staff resources according to changing needs
-Developing business by analysing logistical problems and producing new solutions
-Finished product, capacity planning, distribution centre and warehouse inventory
-Liaising with other departments and supporting the internal supply chain
-Identify areas for cost reductions and implement strategies accordingly
-Ensure Good Housekeeping online with HandS Policy
-Perform other related duties as assigned by Manager/Team leader.
