PRECISSION GRINDER - AEROSPACE - CNC and MANUAL MACHINING - EXCELLENT HOURLY RATE - CONTRACT - ISLE OF MAN

I'm looking for a Precision Grinder to undertake all grinding section tasks involving all aspects of grinding using a variety of cylindrical, surface, internal and planetary grinding machines for a world leading producer of large and small jet engines for commercial and military aircraft.


For the role of precision grinder you shall utilise manual and CNC grinding machines to produce components to drawing specifications, using measuring equipment to validate the set-ups, and check first off samples as required, but also routinely monitoring the output to ensure specifications are maintained.

Skills required:

- Experience in setting and running both CNC and manual external grinding machines
- Familiar with Jones and Shipman, Studer and Myford preferred
- Hold an abrasive wheel certificate
- Able to interpret engineering drawings
- Work to very close tolerances in an Aerospace environment

Interviews will commence with immediate effect with a view starting as early as mid-February.
