Vehicle Weights Leader - Sustainability

A Vehicle Weights Leader is required to work on contract for our client who specialise in luxury cars, the position will be based in the West Midlands.

The Weights Leader will be responsible for the following:

- Project management of Vehicle Weight targets and deliverables, including future target setting and balancing
- Project manage workload across multi-functional engineers
- Status reporting and issue resolution up to Engineering Director Level
- Co-ordinate and chair Design Efficiency Reviews, using company and competitor data, to assist engineers in vehicle light-weighting
- Cascade and track vehicle weight requirements to other engineers
- Certification of Masses and Environmental compliance

Primary Skills required:
- Experience of engineering, testing and evaluation
- Knowledge of technologies associated with the automotive sector, especially relating to weight reduction
- Proven project and time management skills and able to work to a high standard with minimum supervision
- Able to prioritise own and others time and work load
- Deliver under pressure and to challenging deadlines
- Prepared to travel to the clients other sites
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel
- Full UK driving license

Education:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
