You will create and manage supplier schedules to ensure all material is planned and delivered to achieve the production schedule and the required transactions are completed in SAP maintaining data integrity at all times, manage the performance of suppliers by commodity, eg glass, metalwork etc. including supplier liaison and expediting, ensure critical issues are escalated to the Material, Planning and Logistics Manager and work closely with the Operations Management team to agree a levelled production schedule including capacity planning to achieve the customer schedule including end of line safety stock if required. In addition, you will investigate potential stock inaccuracies and make adjustments when the reason for the inaccuracy is known. You will support the achievement of a minimum inventory accuracy of 95% including the use of perpetual inventory processes and monitor stock levels and place orders for all production consumable items.

You must have a good working knowledge of the appropriate SAP/MES screens/transactions, be flexible, self motivated and enthusiastic with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation. As Electronics/Electrical Test Engineer you will be responsible for the planning, implementation, and delivery of processes and equipment for the vehicles electrical/electronic systems within the Group.
Creating and managing E/E test-plan, in partnership with product developers, internal or external.
Communicating relevant information to colleagues.
System specialist for E/E production test software applications ( e.g. Ediabas, Carserver, NFS, FLS, and ABS).
Provide specialist technical support to all users of these systems (Analysis, Production, Maintenance).
Influencing product design through participant in relevant Engineering Module Meetings, identifying and communicating production-related issues within EE Planning network (cross-Plant).
Educational requirements : Hons Degree with 5 years Electrical/Electronic engineering related experience.
Advanced Test System knowledge (e.g.CASCADE)
3yrs experience of manufacturing including assembly techniques, problem solving skills and project planning
Good Project Management skills
Excellent written and oral skills
Good office IT skills
Must be able to communicate with internal and external International partners and have the ability to sell concepts and communicate technical solutions effectively.
Demonstrate Management House Leadership skills.

The Mechanical Assembly Fitters primary responsibility will be to assemble gearboxes and transmissions utilising a variety of materials.

These are complex, precision made parts and it is vital that they are assembled correctly and efficiently.

The successful applicants will have a background in either mechanical assembly or vehicle repair/manufacturing and be capable of working to engineering drawings.

Applicants should be able to work with minimal supervision and be hardworking and punctual.
