A Logistics Analyst is required by leading Automotive Tier 1 based in the Midlands. As an established, successful organisation with a reputation for technically innovative products this organisation requires someone who can manage the logistics process from receipt of the Customer schedule to delivery to the Customer and act as the focal point for liaison with Customers on all aspects of Customer schedules and deliveries by Customer site.

You will create and manage supplier schedules to ensure all material is planned and delivered to achieve the production schedule and the required transactions are completed in SAP maintaining data integrity at all times, manage the performance of suppliers by commodity, eg glass, metalwork etc. including supplier liaison and expediting, ensure critical issues are escalated to the Material, Planning and Logistics Manager and work closely with the Operations Management team to agree a levelled production schedule including capacity planning to achieve the customer schedule including end of line safety stock if required. In addition, you will investigate potential stock inaccuracies and make adjustments when the reason for the inaccuracy is known. You will support the achievement of a minimum inventory accuracy of 95% including the use of perpetual inventory processes and monitor stock levels and place orders for all production consumable items.

You must have a good working knowledge of the appropriate SAP/MES screens/transactions, be flexible, self motivated and enthusiastic with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation. You must also be a highly motivated/flexible team player willing to go the extra mile to achieve the business needs, totally committed to exceeding the expectations of the customer with excellent planning and organising skills with a pragmatic approach and attention to detail. You will be able to analyse and solve problems logically, be assertive and able to manage change, be calm under pressure with a flexible approach, including time management, based on the business needs.
